Porter Maxxi D120 was designed to meet the needs of commercial customers who travel on rough roads with heavy loads. The vehicle is equipped with the new Piaggio P120, 1200cc turbodiesel common rail direct injection engine with EGR (Exhaust Gas Recycling) and a Euro 5 particulate filter. These characteristics guarantee excellent acceleration performance with a load combined with high fuel economy and contained operating costs as well as making this version particularly resistant and suited for heavy duty use with heavy outfitting.

The range of petrol vehicles for commercial use finds an efficient, durable and flexible answer in the MultiTech engine, capable of reducing operating and maintenance costs. The MultiTech engine, with 1,300cc 4 dual shaft 16 valve cylinders with chain driven valve train and indirect electronically managed multipoint injection, meets all Euro 5 standards. The reduced emissions quick engine, combined with the compact and resistant structure of the Porter Maxxi range, makes this solution particularly suited for transportation not only on narrow and winding roads, but also in difficult city traffic.

The agility and load capacity of the Porter Maxxi range combine with the benefits of a bifuel, environmentally friendly, fuel economic engine with advantages for both the environment and operating costs. The dual petrol and LPG fuel system, guaranteed by the new Piaggio MultiTech 4 cylinder dual shaft engine and managed by a phased sequential electronic injection system, increases the vehicle's overall range. LPG, one of the most economic fuels on the market today, is completely benzene and particle free and produces minimum pollution emissions in combustion.

Alongside the EcoPower solution (bifuel petrol + LPG), the Porter Maxxi range brings the GreenPower engine (bifuel petrol + methane), even cleaner and more economical in management costs.

Porter ElectricPower, from its introduction in 1995, has represented a reference point in the zero emissions commercial vehicles world. Ideal for any type of transportation, service and quick urban delivery, it is now updated with important technical upgrades. The new electric motor with separate excitation circuit, the control driver and the signal transmittal cabling and software ensure a greater level of smoothness and riding comfort: perfectly dosed starts and acceleration, less heat generation, more efficient management of available energy, more precise indications of vehicle speed and other parameters which are useful for vehicle management and maintenance.
